Q&A I with Florencia Nery

Hey there! I’ve gathered all the questions people usually ask me in this first Q&A. Hope you like it! Feel free to comment any more curiosities you have.

What are your favorite brands? From Italy I love Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. From France, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent.

And for jewelry? Cartier (I adore the LOVE and Juste un Clou collections) and Tiffany.

What’s your skin care routine? I use the whole Diorsnow collection.

What’s your every day makeup routine? Hydra Life for a hydrated skin, a foundation like Diorskin Forever which I apply with a brush, Iconic Overcurl mascara and Dior Addict lip glow.

Who inspires you? My mother cause she is the most generous person in the world. I also admire Chiara Ferragni (she became a Harvard case study!) and Malala Yousafzai for fighting for women’s education.

What did you study? I have a degree in Social Communication and work as a content developer, a journalist and a photographer. Most of my clients belong to the fashion and beauty industry.

What camera do you use? I have a Canon 6D and edit with Photoshop CC. I shoot with my iPhone 6 and I edit those photos with apps like Snapseed.

What languages do you speak? Spanish, English, Italian, French and a bit of Russian.

What’s your favorite city in Italy? I love Roma and Milano. The Amalfi Coast and the Islands of Capri and Burano are amazing as well, especially for a Summer vacation.

And in France? Paris! But I also love Cannes, Saint Tropez and Cap Ferrat in the Summer.

What are the best Instagram accounts? Parisian Spots, obviously! I also like Conde Nast Traveler, The New Yorker Cartoons and fashion magazines like Vogue (I love their YouTube channel as well). For photojournalism I follow AFP and The New York Times.

Which museums and artists do you like? Between traveling and developing content for an art platform, I’ve seen a lot. But I think I’ll choose the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg and the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. Artists with very diverse style inspire me: Monet, Klimt, Matisse, Chagall and Malevich to name a few.

How do you work out? Right now I am a fan of dance cardio, I discovered it thanks to Simone, and it’s a lot of fun. I also do pilates. The first sports I took were skiing and swimming, which I still love. I’ve tried a lot of things until I found the ones that fit my schedule and I enjoy for more than a month. It’s great that at this time everyone understands the importance of fitness, cause it’s smart to take care of your body.
